This wedding took place at La Baronia, a Barcelona wedding venue located about 40km from the city, set in the hills of Catalonia. I photographed it as a Barcelona wedding photographer , working across the different spaces of the venue as the day moved from preparation to dinner and evening.
The couple travelled from Ireland for a destination wedding, with planning handled by Barcelona Brides.

The ceremony unfolded outdoors, framed by trees and stone architecture. Guests sat on both sides, forming a clear central path for the couple. The ceremony space sits slightly elevated, which gives a clear view from both sides. As a result, movement along the aisle remains visible without interruption.

Preparation took place inside smaller rooms with limited light. Movement between interior and exterior spaces shaped the rhythm of the day.

Later, the focus shifted to the courtyard and dinner setup. Long tables filled the space, while guests spread across different areas.

In the evening, attention moved to the dance floor. Groups formed and dissolved, creating constant movement across the frame. Dinner and evening take place in the same courtyard. Guests remain seated as daylight fades and the lights come on. The dance floor sits a few meters away.

At La Baronia, each part of the day takes place in a separate space, which keeps the flow clear.
