Earlier in the year I met Tash and Frank during one of their visits to Barcelona before the wedding. We spent some time together for a small pre-wedding shoot (end of this post), something I always recommend when couples are already planning to be here ahead of the day itself. A few months later I travelled to photograph their Mas Terrats wedding. It was an incredible day to document as Michele Morea.
Mas Terrats Wedding Venue
Mas Terrats is a wedding venue in the Catalan countryside, surrounded by fields, olive trees, and pinewood. The main house, the courtyard, the swimming pool, the dinner field, and the pine area all sit close enough to feel connected.
Tash and Frank held their ceremony in the main courtyard, close to the house. Dinner was set in the field, surrounded by olive trees, at the beginning of the pinewood. When I arrived, guests were already there, staying in the tipis between the olive field and the pinewood, spending the morning by the pool before the ceremony. Mas Terrats is a dream space for spending a wedding weekend with your best mates.
The wedding was planned by Nubes de Algodón Events.

Digital and Film Photography
Tash and Frank were incredibly welcoming throughout the day, which shaped the atmosphere from the beginning. I photographed the wedding using a mix of digital and colour film during the day, before moving into black and white film later in the evening as the energy shifted after dinner and into the party.
Below is a selection from this Mas Terrats wedding.
