Earlier in the year I met Tash and Frank during one of their visits to Barcelona before the wedding. We spent some time together for a small pre-wedding shoot (end of this post), something I always recommend when couples are already planning to be here ahead of the day itself. A few months later I travelled to photograph their Mas Terrats wedding as a Barcelona wedding photographer.
Mas Terrats Wedding Venue
Mas Terrats sits in the Catalan countryside surrounded by open fields and trees. The venue has a relaxed layout, with different spaces unfolding across the property rather than around a single central area. Part of that atmosphere comes from the camping area set just beyond the main house, where guests stayed in tents across the weekend. Planned by Nubes de Algodón Events, the whole wedding had a slower rhythm, more like a small festival spread over several days than a one-day event.
Guests moved freely between the house, the outdoor spaces, and the tents throughout the weekend, which made the whole experience feel more communal and relaxed.

Digital and Film Photography
Tash and Frank were incredibly welcoming throughout the day, which shaped the atmosphere from the beginning. I photographed the wedding using a mix of digital and colour film during the day, before moving into black and white film later in the evening as the energy shifted after dinner and into the party.
Below is a selection from this Mas Terrats wedding.
